No, apple has a warranty that is limited to factory defects and software issues. If you drop it, damage it, or lose it apple does not cover it any longer. Sorry, good luck finding your iPod
No. The warranty only applies to things that should have not happened under their control, like defective hardware.
User accidents/stupidity, and bad luck are not covered by it. So unless you happened to have claimed it under a homeowner’s insurance policy, you’re SOL.
