no. to find one particular song, you can search it through the artist of that song, the album in which that song is in, or you can make up your own playlist. every thing is controlled by iTunes. when you wanna remove a song from you iPod, go to iTunes, find that one song (or songs) and select (all of) it, then press delete. a pop-up window will come up. if you wanna still keep the file but remove it from iTunes, say ‘keep file.’ if you wanna get rid of the song and file altogether, then click ‘move to recycle bin’

Hey, Rita. So you want to know how an Ipod works. I have an Ipod too and it’s pretty unique. I have a 30GB Ipod Video (Black) and once you get all of your songs into the ipod, your ipod will automaticlly organize all of your songs. The 30GB can carry up to 7,500 songs. The song are all organized by artist, ablums, genre, etc. You can also make your own playlist in itunes of your favorite songs and name the list. Then once you plug your ipod to your computer, you’ll have your playlist there. However, if for example, you didn’t like a specific song in your ipod. You cannot delete it from the Ipod itself. You have to go to your computer and delete your song from itunes. Then connect your Ipod to your computer and the ipod will read that that the song has been deleted and will remove it from your Ipod.

There are so many things you can do with your Ipod. You can put phone numbers of your family and friends, put in up to 25,000 photos, have an organizer calander, (like, your very own schedule), Play games (like Pac-Man, Tetris, Zuma etc. But only for the Ipod Video, the games won’t work on the nano). Also the Ipod has a Screenlock. What this is, is that you can actually lock your Ipod from anyone who steals it and have your very own combination. I lock it from my little brothers and sister all the time. lol. If, say you forgot your lock combination and you can’t open your ipod, just connect it to the computer and the ipod will unlock. With the iPod shuffle, you have to search through all the songs to find a single one, but the models with screens (the iPod and iPod Nano) have a fairly intuitive interface for finding the song that you want at any given moment. Any song can be easily removed from the iPod when it’s connected to your computer by using the iTunes software.

heck yes i love my ipod…its basicly like ten million cds in one place smaller than your hand…it seperats them in bands and albums…like you scroll through your artists list..and you click Disciple…then you choose the album Back Again then you choose the song Why Don’t You Just Shut Up…it really is a song i’m not telling you to shut up…thats what an ipods like
